Animal Complaints and Enforcement
The City of Finlayson does not have a dedicated Animal Services department. Animal-related complaints are handled through City Hall in accordance with the City’s animal ordinance. Repeated violations may result in fines, which, if unpaid, will be assessed to the property tax roll at the end of the year. For urgent situations involving immediate danger to people or animals, residents should contact the Pine County Sheriff’s Department or Pine County Animal Welfare Society.
