The City of Finlayson will be conducting routine hydrant flushing throughout the city during the month of April, specifically April 14-25. This necessary maintenance helps ensure the continued reliability of our water system by removing sediment and verifying hydrants are functioning properly.
What You Need to Know:

Hydrant flushing may cause temporary discoloration in your water. This is normal and not harmful.

If you notice discolored water, let your cold water run for a few minutes until it clears.

Avoid doing laundry during flushing in your area to prevent possible staining.

Water pressure may fluctuate temporarily in some areas.
