NOTICE OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Finlayson City Council will hold a Special Meeting on:

Monday, July 28, 2025
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Finlayson City Hall
2217 Finland Ave, Finlayson, MN 55735

The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss and/or take action on the following items:

1. Resolution #2025-19 - Acceptance of Donation from Finlayson Community Club
2. Franchise Transfer Agreement - Transfer of franchise from SCI to Midco
3. Blight Concerns - Discussion of property on Front Street
4. Council Appointments - Designation of Department Liaisons
5. Personnel Review - Development of Policy & Procedures for "department" reviews (Clerk, Fire, Liquor Store, Public Works)
6. Operational Analysis - Review of Liquor Store Operations
7. Bylaw Revision - Consideration of Amendments to Council bylaws
8. Resident Complaints - Development of Policy & Procedures for handling concerns

This meeting is open to the public in accordance with the Minnesota Open Meeting Law (Minn. Stat. § 13D.01).
